Recently, many local and international visitors have come to see the amazing nature of the universe in Sabah. With “stargazing” activities on offer, visitors can enjoy leisure activities such as picnics, camping and bathing.

WHAT IS STARGAZING?

Definition of Stargazing is observing the stars using a modern telescope for astronomy knowledge through a retractable roof.

In October, the tamu is held on a larger and more vibrant scale, and this is known as the tamu besar (grand market). Another interesting sight is the golden mosque on the hill.

Kota Belud can be a stopover en route to Kudat, Mantanani and Manana Beach.
